Enough.

Just in case your mind is playing tricks on you today• • You are loved You are important You have purpose You have hope You are growing You have power You are beautiful You are wise You are enough • • Add (enough) to these phrases and watch how they change • • You are loved (enough) You are important (enough) You have (enough) purpose You have (enough) hope You are growing (enough) You have (enough) power You are beautiful (enough) You are wise (enough) You are (enough) • • My enough is not your enough. Yours is not mine. • • The only (enough) I have to compare myself to is Jesus’. And he came so that His enough would be mine. That I have enough because of Him. That I am enough because of Him. • • Because my enough will never be enough without Him. • So enough with saying “I’m not this” or “I’m not that.” With Jesus, you are. • • You are loved, because He is love. You are important, because He was/is important. You have purpose, because He says you are called. You are wise, because He gives wisdom to whoever asks for it. You have hope, because He rose again. You are growing, because He molds us like jars of clay. You have power, because His power (through the Holy Spirit) lives in you. You are beautiful, because he made you - fearfully & wonderfully. You are enough, because of Jesus. • • “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” (2 Corinthians 12:9) • • “His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence...” (2 Peter 1:3)
